Anonymous comments about EVERYONE on Facebook and Twitter gone wrong

Hello Everyone,

I hope you had a great week and are excited for the weekend because I know I am!

There is a new website out called Abouteveryone.com. This site allows you to paste people's Facebook/Twitter Url and write how you feel about this person or their actions on Faceobook or Twitter. Intrigued by the idea of this site, I began reading what people wrote about others. I instantly cringed reading what some people wrote, especially knowing that most of these people claimed to be friends with them or at least according to Facebook and Twitter they were.

This site could be used to say positive things about a person, but after taking a look at several posts, I realized that many of the things mentioned were negative feelings and comments bashing the person. Was this hatred necessary? I didn't think so. Speaking so poorly about someone is wrong and especially when it is being done over the Internet. Is it really productive, or constructive anyway?

These comments could later be read by future job employers, kids and peers of the person you were speaking of. Furthermore, it could keep them from getting a job and could change the way people perceive that person. This site sparked quick interest, but in the end left me wondering where the internet is taking the social world. People seem to like you, add you on Facebook, but then speak horrible things about you on sites like this with your own URL.

So please be careful with what you say on the internet because it could really affect your life and someone else's.I hope my post was helpful. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this site or other site similar to this.
