A group of religious folk are on a retreat lead by their charismatic leader when they happen upon a man that begins to question their beliefs as well as the understand of God. At first the leader allows the man to speak and they begin a dialogue until the stranger's words become blasphemous. The crowd begin to say angry things to the stranger. Soon violence erupts and the man is beaten to death by the crowd.
