Malcolm James Neptune Jones just moved into a new neighbourhood and meets Garrett that introduces the other kids of the neighbourhood to him. There were the twins, Molly and Lolly, Fat Tony, Yoyo, Issy, Vinnie the Squid, and Cybil, the local candy vendor. At first "Jonesy" seems reluctant to follow Garrett around the neighbourhood, but after a while he learns to trust Garrett and the rest of the kids in the neighbourhood.
