About News Reel: X-15

This News Reel contains footage of the first X-15 flight. The X-15 was a rocket powered experimental aircraft designed to reach the edge of space. Primarily used by NASA and the United States Air Force, there have been many versions of the X-Series, the newest in use today as a spy plane.
